Bad Attitude Productions (BAP) is committed to creating provocative
theatre that challenges, engages and entertains our artists and
audience.
BAP was founded in the Twin Cities by Aaron Konigsmark, Ben Layne, Rebecca Droste, Chris McGahan, Clint Clark, Shannon Troy Jones, and Justin Hossle after we found ourselves here through various means upon graduating from college. The decision was made to band together and create our own company on November 27th, 2004. We plunged right into the task, and our inaugural show, Oedipus Wrecks: Shakespeare and Sophocles Excellent Adventure, was met with thunderous sitting ovations at the 2005 Minnesota Fringe Festival.

In January, 2006 we began work on our first full season, Words Without Explanations, and it was launched with a production of Mac Wellman's Sincerity Forever at the Old Arizona Theatre.

We have continued our mission of creating theatre that amuses, consternates, baffles, challenges, entertains, is thought-provoking, artistically driven, and raises the bar of theatre practices, and have received play submission from all around the world.
